Planning Underway for 4th of July Celebration

Organizers met this week to discuss plans for this year's 4th of July Celebration.

Last year's celebration had to be canceled due to the pandemic. We are told there will likely be an event this year but it's not yet clear how many days the celebration will be. Organizers are finalizing event details which could include a parade, car show, carnival and fireworks.

The Governor's orders will allow up to 10,000 people for outdoor events starting April 1 and that could change again in the coming months. More details will be posted on the City's website as it becomes available.
