CTN Journal: Preserving Time

Man repairs an antique clock

Chuck Zielin is a volunteer horologist who cares for Anoka County Historical Society's antique clocks. He donates hours of time dismantling, researching and restoring the timepieces. Zielin is a retired educator and administrator with a masters in European history, which makes him well suited for the job.

Zielin is captivated by man's quest to measure time. Each clock he restores brings with it a history lesson of its own.
