It is a violation of City Code for dogs and cats to run loose in the city of Coon Rapids (City Code chapter 6-117 and 6-404).
If a dog or cat is running loose in the city, please call 911. An officer will attempt to find the animal. If the animal is caught, it will be taken to the Animal Humane Society, the City of Coon Rapids' animal impound location.
