Billing Questions

The Utility Billing Division processes water and sewer bills for the City of Coon Rapids. Utility Billing is a division of the Finance Department but works closely with the Utilities Division in Public Works to ensure a smooth utility and billing process for residents. The Utility Billing Department will be happy to assist you with:
  • Billing questions and concerns
  • Leaky water meters
  • Opening and closing an account
  • Water service connections and disconnections
  • Email us with your questions today!

Water or Sewer Questions

The Utilities Division can answer many of your questions regarding the actual water or sewer system. They may be reached by telephone at 763-767-6462. The Utilities Division will handle situations such as:
  • Low water pressure
  • Sewer line backup
  • Water valve issues

Opening or Closing an Account

To open or close an account, please contact the Utility Billing Office by email or call 763-767-6438. 

Bill Payments

Water and sewer bills are sent to properties quarterly. You can pay your bill by one of several ways:

  • Online payment through the eUtilityBilling website. Find out how this program works. ($2.95 convenience fee applies)
  • Through the Automatic Payment Program. Fill out the Auto-Pay Authorization to sign up for this feature. (no convenience fees apply)
  • In person at City Hall, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm (cash and check only)
  • Put your bill with payment in the drop box located outside of City Hall
  • By mail (instructions are included in your billing statement)
  • Online with your bank's bill pay system
  • Pay by phone option. Call 1-844-850-9189. Please have your customer/account number ready.($2.95 convenience fee applies)
