Rental Information

Coronavirus (COVID-19) UPDATE:

Due to concerns about Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the community, staff at the Coon Rapids Civic Center have received many questions about rescheduling or canceling events.

Here are our policies:*

  • The Civic Center has been canceling all events scheduled at the facility per the Governor’s Executive Orders regarding large group events.
  • Room rental fees and damage deposits will be refunded to clients if their event falls within this time frame.
  • If after the facility can reopen again, and clients want to reschedule their event, staff will work with you to try and find an open date/space available.
  • If there are no open dates available at our facility, staff will refund clients their room rental fee (minus a 10% administrative fee) plus a full refund of their damage deposit.

We realize world events are causing some challenges for people planning and hosting events. The Civic Center will try to make your event rescheduling as easy as possible, as long as we have open space and dates available.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work together to find solutions in this ever-changing public health situation.

*Please note: with the ever-changing recommendations surrounding this disease, please know these policies may fluctuate and change as well. We will continue to update all information on this webpage.
