As the measles outbreak continues to grow in Minnesota, Allina Health is restricting visitor access at all of its hospitals and clinics. Effective immediately, children under the age of five are not permitted in Allina hospitals unless they are in need of medical care. Also, all children 10 and under must wear a mask in Allina hospitals and clinics. So far, more than 50 confirmed cases of measles have been reported, most in Hennepin County. The majority of cases involve Somali children who didn't receive the measles vaccine.
